Survivalist Chick: A Survivalist, Prepper, Bushcrafter, Dissenter, Pragmatist, Humanist, Political Activist

When the people fear their government, there is tyranny. When the government fears the people, there is liberty. ~Thomas Jefferson

Hi and welcome to my site. Here you will find information, tips, and commentary on survivalist issues and survivalist prepping and bushcraft for TEOTWAWKI WTSHTF, or SHTF. Translation: the end of the world as we know it when the shit hits the fan. This is abbreviated lingo among survivalists, “preppers”, or whatever you want to call those of us preparing for financial, societal, political, energy, and/or infrastructure meltdown.

There is also information, opinions, and links regarding related issues of living off grid, peak oil, solar energy, sustainability, organic gardening, food storage, hyperinflation, the economic crisis, civil disobedience, civil rights, civil liberties, peaceful resistance, social justice, and more.

I have included very informative links and videos as a resource and jumping off point for those of you who aren’t yet knowledgeable about these things, and to represent my thinking and perspectives on why I think survivalism and prepping are important. However, this site isn’t meant to be a comprehensive clearing house of information. The primary aim is just for me to have a place on the net to voice my own opinions and share things that are important to me regarding survivalism, survivalist skills, prepping, bushcraft, urban survival, wilderness survival, and the imminent political and economic crash.

As a survivalist, my main goal is to survive and hopefully thrive in the wake of disaster, and the best tool I have to ensure this is my brain. The more knowledge I have the better, and I gather information from many different sources. It doesn’t matter to me what that person’s political perspective is, whether I like their personality, or their reasons for prepping for SHTF or TEOTWAWKI. If I find a resource that has useful information, I will take advantage of that and try to learn all I can. So, you will find a diverse array of urban survival and wilderness survival information and resources on my links page and in the video list I have compiled.

Whether you’re an urban survivalist, a wilderness survivalist, a bushcraft practitioner, a camping and outdoors enthusiast, or simply someone who’s interested in expanding their understanding of current politics and global dynamics, hopefully you will find something useful and interesting here.
